SHS Class of ’70 - 40th Reunion Update
Greetings SHS ’70 Classmates! Here's a summary of events, times and locations...for our 40th Reunion: If you're planning to attend the SHS'70 Reunion Weekend, please indicate your commitment, if you have not already done so, by sending an email to Laurie Soltzer Horowitz at: jjmom123@gmail.com IMMEDIATELY! Here's a recap of the reunion festivities, please read the entire message! Friday Night October 1, 2010 – Meet & Greet at: CHAT AMERICAN GRILL, One Christie Place, Scarsdale, NY http://www.chatamericangrill.com for food & drinks. CHAT is located across from Chase Park in Scarsdale. The cost for the Friday night event alone is $30. However, if you are attending the Saturday night party as well, the cost of the Friday night party (as well as Saturday afternoon) is included in the $125. Starts at 8pm till . . . 11pm ??? Saturday Afternoon October 2, 2010 @ Scarsdale High . . . Here's some basic information about Saturday afternoon plans which are being organized by Andy Kreeger. He has reserved the cafeteria at SHS from Noon to 5pm. A nice lunch will be served. He is organizing a tour of the "new wing", and hopes to book some live music as well. Anyone who wishes to help out with these activities, please contact Andy at: andrew.l.kreeger@citi.com. Saturday Night October 2, 2010 – "We're Havin' a Party" The BIG event will be held at the Ridgeway Country Club in White Plains, New York. The event will start at 7pm with cocktails, followed by a buffet and then desert. Please make your $125 check per person payable ASAP to: Scarsdale High School Reunion, mail to: Patsy Bloom Comerford 87 Club Pointe Drive White Plains, NY 10605 If you need hotel accommodations: We have reserved 30 rooms (we can add more, if needed) at the Doral Arrowwood Hotel Conference Center. If you would like to reserve a room, please contact the hotel directly to make your reservation. Be sure to mention "Scarsdale High School 40th Reunion" to get the special rate of $139 per night. Please reserve by September 1, 2010 to get this rate. Since it is past the deadline, you can still try and ask for this rate, but there is no guarantee that it's still available.
